伊松佐大道拾號

I always knew that I'm not good at history although I like it very much. But I've never knew that I knew so little about Taipei until I had to try to explain to S. Walked around 228 Memorial Park, I tried to show him the architectural beauty of NTU hospital and Office of the President yet failed to get him excited about them. Perhaps these less than 150-year-old buildings are nothing special comparing to those of centuries old in Europe.
對於硬記的歷史一向感到苦惱的我，一直到了帶Ｓ回台灣之後，才發現自己對生長的土地，所知的少得可憐。走在博愛特區，我帶著Ｓ看總統府及台大醫院，但卻沒因為自己知識的不足，而無法讓Ｓ對這他們感到有趣。又或許，對於自小就接觸幾百年古蹟的義大利人來說，台北這些不到兩百年的建築，實在稱不上是古老？
In the same area, S is more interesting in one souvenir store, called "Chinese Handicraft Mart". We went there twice if I remembered correctly and found really good stuff for his families and friends.

在同一區，Ｓ倒是對手工藝推廣中心特別地感到興趣。一開始或許只是好奇，但當我們參觀過第一次之後，就決定在離台前到這兒採買給義大利親友的小禮品。其實，店裡的東西真的算是送禮自用兩相宜的呀！
